We would like to send condolences and prayers to Young Dolph’s family, friends, the communities he served, his fans, and the hip hop world. Hip hop and (gun) violence has unfortunately been more prominent than usual. We pray that this will go away permanently.
We’ve attached some news sources to support the story, and some of his music below. Power and change to ALL.
"Young Dolph, a deeply skilled Memphis rapper with deadpan bravado and a fierce independent streak who emerged as one of hip-hop’s most promising new stars in recent years, was killed Wednesday in a shooting in his hometown. He was 36.
Known for collaborating widely and his deadpan bravado, his last solo album, “Rich Slave,” debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard chart last year."
