The first quarter has came and went, but the second quarter has started with some DOPE music from the city (Jacksonville, Florida)! Upcoming shows have been flooding the Duval timelines, the anticipation of new music coming out from the seasoned artists (The LRK camp cometh), and albums have been released to the public for consumption. It’s a good time, to say the least!

BROTHAVUDU
BROTHAVUDU is a newly producer (to us) that has a sound that’s reminiscing, but automatic. The album opens up with an instrumental, and while listening further, it was determined that this was a tape full of easy vibes. Freddy Bricks, Mecca Tha Marvelous, and CagedBird handle business on the production and it gives the chef’s approval. We’ll be tuned in to more of BROTHAVUDU’s work to come.
FREDDY BRICKS
Freddy Bricks strikes again with another solo project. Féla Alochi, Flash the Samurai, Mecca Tha Marvelous, and Cartier Cole play costars on this beautiful work. Of course Bricks does his duties to make sure the tape keeps consistency. It’s the architect, delivering that pack for you to indulge!
MECCA THA MARVELOUS
Mecca Tha Marvelous has been flaming the music streets with his work. To remind you, he made it on our Top Music Project list for 2022 TWICE and he shows no signs of letting up. ‘Jane Doe’ taps in to a reflective side of Mecca (‘Relapse’), while showcasing his essence of emceeing (titled track). Enjoy the marvelous spin.
DIALECTABLE BEATS
Dialectable Beats, on the low and high, has been in these producer streets for a minute. Outside of being a dope DJ, he’s crafted some dope beats for the Hip Hop heads to get their bars up to. With his latest beat installation, he gives 25 minutes of funk. The drums and melodies are packed and the flow of the tape will make you FLOW!
Broadway Louie is no stranger to experimenting with sounds, and on his latest tape ‘Magick’, he does a great job with elevating the rich, spring/summer-style production. Production was performed by Marco on the Track, Bluff Gawd, and Cheap Limousine while Darren Robert and Marco Williams did some co-writing. Louie remains in superstar lane, which compliments his other music projects.
