On this week's episode of Just Checking In, Audreyonna Sequale explores what it means to "protect Black women." After reading Megan Thee Stallion’s op-ed in the New York Times that details her assault at the hands of rapper/singer Tory Lanez, she calls attention to the ways in which society has failed Black women and how people can do better by them.

A call to action from Sequale:

Black women: Let me know below what "protection" means to you and how you can begin to feel protect by Black men, white people, and other POCs.
